Summary

The R-Class in its long-range version (LWB) offers exceptional interior space, combining the comfort of a limousine with the practicality of an MPV. The V6 Diesel OM642 engine is very suitable for this large vehicle weight, offering high traction force at low laps. However, like any early OM642, it requires attention to oil cooler seals and regular maintenance of the suspension system, which is often Airmatic and can be costly for repair in case of airbags wear.
