The 2015 Mercedes-Benz E 200 Natural Gas Drive W212, offered in Europe from September 2013 to December 2015, is a facelift (phase II) model of the rear-wheel drive (RWD) 4-door luxury sedan. It includes a turbocharged 1991 cm3 Line 4 (M274 DE20) Gasoline engine, with indirect gasoline injection and CNG installation, and DOHC, with Start-Stop function, producing 156 KF / 154 hp / 115 kW at 5000 engine rpm and 270 Nm of torque at 1250 engine rpm. Combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission (Daimler-Benz 7G-Tronic), it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 216 km/h. Its combined fuel consumption (CNG) is 5.3kg/100km (4.3kg/100km according to some sources, but we’ll use the more conservative value specified below).
